Carbon International is assisting Switzerland-based venture capital firm Mountain Cleantech to raise funds for its second expansion-capital European cleantech fund, Mountain Cleantech Fund II.  We introduced the company to several European investors, resulting in one cornerstone investor to date.  The fund raised EUR23m at first close in October 2011 aiming to reach EUR100m in 2012.  Mountain Cleantech has presented at several LEIF conferences which have enhanced its profile among institutional and corporate investors.  We continue to assist Mountain Cleantech towards second and final close.
