BACKGROUND

Low Carbon Accelerator is a closed-ended investment company, whose mission is to provide the funds to accelerate the growth of businesses with products and services that will deliver immediate reductions in carbon dioxide emissions.

Managed by Low Carbon Investors Ltd, an experienced management and advisory team, their focus is on businesses in the UK, Europe and North America providing products and services in clean energy, cleaner fuels, energy efficiency and building sectors.

OVERVIEW

  • We created the brand that launched the initial Low Carbon Accelerator financial product in October 2006.
  • Produced a visual identity that reflected values of excellence and responsibility.
  • Delivered the necessary tools to help them successfully manage their new brand.
  • Provided stationery, business cards and presentation materials.
  • Ensured the company had a strong on-line presence.
  • Continued to remain actively involved in all aspects of the growth of the company internationally by producing and printing brand communications.

KEY RESULTS

Low Carbon Accelerator successfully launched on the Alternative Investment Market (AIM), raising gross proceeds of £44.5 million.

Thanks, in part, to the strength of the branding, they have since grown into an international network with operations in Germany and Spain with a comprehensive set of communication materials that work seamlessly under one umbrella, whilst allowing for the individual personality of each region / country to shine through.
